You would think it would have happened by now. People move around more than ever in the last 50 years. I wonder if the general decrease in malnutrition and vitamin deficiency also plays a part. You see pictures of the poorest folks like refugees and it seems like a lot of them are healthy and well fed. Then look at pictures of refugees from 100 years ago, different story.

We are not taking cameras to the real s-holes. My SIL spent a year in Somalia and came home very grateful for the US.
