“I wouldn’t migrate to that crap OS, at gunpoint.”

I bought an older PC with 10 installed for about $100, will only be using it for online transactions that need to be secure (with updates). Otherwise, when it comes to MS for un-secure doings, I’m sticking with Win 7. On the Linux side, Xubuntu is also a fine OS.

I may end up doing something similar, although I will probably get a new PC with Win 10 in the belief that I would eventually transition the software I use on the Win 7 PC over to it.

What I'm noticing right now is Dell is not discounting their PCs very much. I suspect they realize a lot of users are going to need/want to move to Win 10 soon, so the discounts are pretty thin ($50 off of a $1,100 PC is one example - normally, you would see $200-300 off as a deal).

Win 10 is saddled with the failed tile UI. If they got rid of that, fixed the bugs, and took out the spyware it might be worth a look. As it is, I use it to only run software that clients need me to run under windows. Other than that, I am Mint Man.
