I agree. The founding generation was one of, if not the, greatest generations in all of human history. I don’t know why so many people buy into Brokaw’s “greatest generation” propaganda.

I don’t know about aliens - but this is just more proof of Bigfoot. Folks are always saying how “Bigfoot isn’t real ‘cuz no bones or nothin’ have ever been found.”

Losing some spacecraft on the moon - with no trees even - just shows how hard it is to find something.

Really? The cohort falsely given the moniker “greatest generation” because they fought WWII, would have been born mostly in the late 1910’s through the late 1920’s. That is the generation that shaped most of the 20th century, for good and bad. The millions of left-leaning among them spread communism/socialism throughout our country. Their long march has won battle after battle in academia, politics, the courts, entertainment, the news media and numerous other institutions. Their children were mostly born in the 1940’s and 50’s, and their grandchildren mostly in the 60`s and 70’s. So tell me...what legacy have they left us? Some good, yes, but a tremendous amount of bad. Far, far too much to deserve “the greatest” tag.

Seems like the intervening generations were the problem. I know samples from all of those generations. The socialists began flooded the place starting with the 80s and 90s.

Have you raised children? They don't always adopt the mores of the parents. The socialists infiltrated the school system based upon an agenda. One they got a toe hold on the kids, peer influence did the rest.

My parents were of the WWII generation. I was raised under the influence of those people at large. They were mostly strict conservatives, and they raised their children that way. Once my generation began raising children, we discovered that we didn't have much influence on them once they hit the high school years. That lack of parental influence gets worse with each generation.
