Following the fourth Democratic debate in Westerville, Ohio, BlazeTV's Eric Bolling questioned candidates Beto O'Rourke and Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) about their support for a gun confiscation policy, and asked billionaire presidential candidate Tom Steyer why he thinks the economy isn't thriving under President Donald Trump.
"Congressman, can you please clarify how you will get the ARs and AKs back," Bolling asked O'Rourke.
"I expect our fellow Americans to follow the law. If you own and AR-15, if you own an AK-47, and it is no longer legal to own that, I expect you to turn it in," O'Rourke said.
Asked if he thinks "bad guys" are likely to follow the law, O'Rourke answered, "I think we should have faith in our fellow Americans, gun-owners and non-gun-owners alike, including the owners of AR-15s and AK-47s, to do the right thing."
Sen. Booker said America needs to "have the courage" to implement new background-check and gun-licensing policies in order to combat the "fear [that] is saturating our society."

Oh yes. They call him “Beto” because of all the Mexican restaurants and the barrio that he drove past on the way to work at his uncle’s law office.
The probably would’ve had him unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and sweeping up around the place. He strikes me as a bumbling idiot that wouldn’t do well talking to customers. He was supposedly in a band. Who wants to bet that he played with his mic and amp turned off and they only brought him along on gigs because he was a rich kid that threw his money around?
There will be two different categories of criminals here: actual criminals who use these firearms to commit violent crime, and legal owners of these firearms who will become criminals because owning them will have become a crime. I don’t see many people doing Mexican Bob’s “right thing.” I’ll go out on a limb and predict none of the violent criminals will.
They should put Beta and Biden on Jeopardy! to see who gets the worse negative score. I’d count on them to do worse than Wolf Blitzer, a moron that can’t get above zero even when they throw them the easy celebrity-questions.

I had no idea that he had a wife, I always viewed him as sitting alone on the 2nd floor of his Victorian house on weeknights, playing his guitar to the music on his stereo while smoking a joint. Then he hits the bar Friday and Saturday nights. Rich kids have no problem finding mentally-vacant women that don’t look at anything past the money that a moron is spending on her, so I never saw him as the settling-down type.
I’m sure the wife is just a political prop and he spends many MANY days on the road without her, which suits her just fine. When he burns out politically and she decides to punch out, all she has to do is catch him with a chick, which won’t be difficult at all (I’m betting he’s enough of a moron to make no attempt at covering his tracks). She’ll get a few million from the divorce, which he will recoup from the family fortune that will take a 0.01% hit. With the money they’re making off local govt. influence-peddling, in a year it’ll be like it never happened.
Who is crazier now? Beta boi, Old Joe or HRC? It’s a race to the bottom for total psychosis.

Oh, they’re definitely talking about legal gun owners that won’t participate in buy-back programs. In the universe of the libs, career criminals are those “down on their luck”, conservatives are the only criminals in their book. It’s a lot like their definition of “the rich”. For Congress, “the rich” is anybody that makes more than $50K/year and since they make the rules and the system is geared to the 1%, they don’t fall under their own rules or enforcement doesn’t come after them when they blow it off.
I would make two observations. First, it’s rare that any criminal uses a AR or AK in any crime. I think if you asked the FBI on their stats...it might only occur five to ten times in an entire year. Most criminals prefer pistols.
Second, the journalist in this interview should have had a question ready for ‘Robert Francis’, and asked....do you know any criminals, and have they said that to you?

OK, I finally understand why Democrats feel that criminals should not go to jail for committing crimes. If they are caught once and told to stop, the Democrats just have faith the crooks will not do it again.

This is what happens when a rich family hires a slippery fingered nanny to watch their baby. Irish Bob has been dropped on his soft head so many times he can’t tell reality from fantasy.
Or he could just be an average democrat. The symptoms are basically the same.
Using Beto’s logic why not pass a law that states breaking the law is a crime and therefore all criminals will stop.
