TITLE: Oligarchs Will Crash System to Boot Trump – Paul Craig Roberts

I have some observations about this thesis:

1) The economy is Yuuuuge! While the extremely wealthy have some levers they can pull, they are not all-powerful.

TO WIT:

2) President Trump has TAKEN AWAY one of their biggest levers--OPEC OIL PRICE--by backing the new regime in Saudi Arabia headed by Mohammad bin Salman. Derps TRIED UNSUCCESSFULLY TO UNSEAT MbS over the death of that FAKE Journalist.

NOTE: OPEC price is also now LIMITED by American production, which ramps up VERY RAPIDLY any time oil prices move significantly past $50 a barrel. ALL RECESSIONS SINCE mid-70s (OPEC "Crisis") have been PRECEDED BY OIL PRICE SPIKES. For example, 2008 financial crash was preceded by a massive run-up in oil, which peaked over $160. THAT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN IN TRUMP PRESIDENCY. They've GOT THIS!

3) President Trump has TAKEN AWAY one of their biggest weapons by educating the MAJORITY OF AMERICANS (MAGA!) about FAKE NEWS. This means they can no longer "Talk" the country into recession.

4) His incredibly strong economic team (Mnuchin, Ross, Kudlow, Lighthizer & Navarro) even managed to get in front of issues such as "Inverted yield curve" which the financial press were attempting to use against the President.

5) The beauty of capitalism and free markets is that, regardless of their politics, participants ultimately just WANT TO MAKE MONEY.

6) President Trump has partially de-fanged the Federal Reserve by preemptively setting them up as the biggest danger to the economy ... even "a bigger danger than China."

7) Due to the strength of the American economy and financial markets, WE ARE THE ONLY GOOD PLACE TO INVEST. China may seem to be growing, BUT THEY ARE DEVALUING THE YUAN FASTER THAN THEIR STOCKS CAN APPRECIATE.

8) This is a world-wide issue as evidenced by "Negative" interest rates almost everywhere outside the U.S. In other words, THEY CAN'T GIVE THEIR CURRENCY AWAY (at least not to parties with a chance of paying it back).

IN SUMMARY: There is no doubt the derps would love to pull off a recession, and that this would be the only way to defeat Trump in 2020 ... BUT I DO NOT THINK THEY HAVE A CHANCE.

(Natural News) If ever there was a legitimate threat to our republic, it’s not coming from outside the country it’s coming from inside.

Sure, Russia and China pose existential threats to our existence, but the leaders of both those countries know and understand any shooting war with the United States will bring about their destruction as well.

 

So they are content to allow us to destroy our country from within, compliments of the Democrat Party and the Left-wing Marxists who find a political home there.

Millions of Americans are aware that our electronic balloting systems remain under constant threat of hacking by a foreign power. 

They also know that the giant tech companies are run Leftists who embraced just enough capitalism to grow their companies into behemoths so they could use their newfound power to destroy liberty for the rest of us.

What if the bigger threat to changing election outcomes didn’t come from Russian or Chinese hackers, but instead from a major American tech corporation — like Amazon?
