So KTLA, to what public good is it to reveal national security secrets to our enemies in such fashion where they need not employ their own intelligence services to discover our intents?

I once sold some computer equipment to Northrop, or it might have been TRW in Redondo Beach. There is a cluster of ultra high-tech electronic Aviation and spy companies in that area, Hughes aircraft, Grumman, Northrop, TRW probably 10 others that you have never heard of. They are vastly diminished from their size back in the 70s and 80s but still enormous . I had a small (just me!) company that specialized in exactly what they were looking for which was an obsolete piece of computer gear. I sold large piles of gear to one particular Division of TRW, that used 17 of my items in a ground tracking satellite station. This was a different division, and they were looking for a more advanced item that I also bought from junk yards and scrap yards, refurbed, and sold. That little computer business turned s*** into gold like nothing I have ever seen.

So I talked to the engineer and we discussed how much and when I could deliver it and etc etc. So the engineer said that’s great, we will definitely order one from you.

So I said okay just issue a purchase order and I’ll get it to you this week if you want. Engineer got a little cagey and said well we can’t really issue a purchase order. And I said well how do I know I’m going to get paid? It was about $2,500. He said oh you’ll definitely get paid don’t worry about it, but the other problem is that we can’t allow a common carrier near where this piece of equipment is supposed to go. Huh. Starting to get the picture. So I said well, okay why don’t I just drive it over there in my van and I will meet you in the parking lot, you will come out with a cart and we will load it on your cart and that will be that. He got really excited all of a sudden, and said you can really do that? I said of course I can, I live 6 miles away, I’ll put it in my van drive it over and we will do a parking lot deal. And that’s exactly how it happened. Pretty funny. And I did get paid.

That was a decoy. The real item was put on a Ryder rental truck and driven to a cargo aircraft a short distance away at LAX.

Judging by the color it is probably Navy vessel deck mounted.

Yes, a laser. And so obviously so that they clearly wanted “others” to know exactly what it was.

Mysterious Object Northrop Is Barging From Redondo Beach Is A High-Power Naval Laser
The system being moved represents a big leap in ship-based directed energy capabilities and is slated to be tested aboard USS Portland.
By Tyler Rogoway October 18, 2019

Excerpts: "It is a high-energy laser system that we can say with near certainty is part of the Solid-State Laser Technology Maturation (SSL-TM) program that Northrop Grumman won the contract for in 2015."

"However, SSL-TM aims to be significantly more powerful. Where the AN/SEQ-3 had a 30-kilowatt power rating, the new system will be in the 150-kilowatt class.

And contrary to its tech expertise, Northrop Grumman rewards those who pervert God’s “hardware” and ‘software,” providing medical, dental, and vision care benefits to gay, lesbian, and heterosexual couples that traditionally have been limited to married spouses. This will not end well.
