I’m not certain, now, but pretty sure that Nixon resigned following the House vote to impeach, and then only when he was also told that they had the votes in the US SENATE, as well, which of course meant his Removal, so therefore, Nixon immediately resigned rather than see the Senate vote for his removal from office.
Cronkite was very convincing in that day, but the electorate is far more sophisticated and savvy to the tactics of the Left and of the media. The ruins of decadence are all around us. I have to believe Americans know who to hold most responsible for it and it isn’t going to be President Trump, whether they can crack enough heads together to impeach him, or not.
Also, I believe voters know the Democrats have no case against POTUS, but for those which fall apart as soon as they introduce it. Lol.
