The 1972 Rothschild-hosted Illuminati Ball gave rise to the infamous, Q-referenced photo of the Rothschilds in party regalia, including a gold-plated stag's head for the Missus. The ball supposedly inspired the Stanley Kubrick movie Eyes Wide Shut. Kubrick died mysteriously while the movie was being edited, and 20 minutes of material too dangerous to the Illuminati were subsequently edited out.

I was interested to discover that there is a new 2019 version of the Illuminati Ball to be held at a secret location this December 31., hosted by The Baroness and Baron de Rothschild. You have to apply to attend. Only 35 will be admitted, with a ticket price of $1,000.
