Just spoke to President @RTErdogan of Turkey. He told me there was minor sniper and mortar fire that was quickly eliminated. He very much wants the ceasefire, or pause, to work. Likewise, the Kurds want it, and the ultimate solution, to happen. Too bad there wasn’t.....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 18, 2019

.....this thinking years ago. Instead, it was always held together with very weak bandaids, & in an artificial manner. There is good will on both sides & a really good chance for success. The U.S. has secured the Oil, & the ISIS Fighters are double secured by Kurds & Turkey....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 18, 2019

....I have just been notified that some European Nations are now willing, for the first time, to take the ISIS Fighters that came from their nations. This is good news, but should have been done after WE captured them. Anyway, big progress being made!!!!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 18, 2019

DEFEAT TERRORISM! https://t.co/8WbnLPgWIK— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 18, 2019

Can you believe I am doing this important work for our Country, and have to deal with Corrupt Adam Schiff and the Do Nothing Democrats at the same time? It was not intended to be this way for a President!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 18, 2019

Someone on the previous page posted a link to Praying Medic’s thread. Here it is unrolled, I’d credit the person but didn’t find, thanks to whoever posted the link. Excellent read, I encourage everyone to read it.

Why I Trust the Plan

The President’s ability to negotiate a ceasefire with Turkey, when the situation seemed destined for an extended war illustrates why I trust POTUS and why I trust the plan.

People object to the phrase “trust the plan” for many reasons. Some perceive it as a demand that we stop thinking for ourselves. That we allow someone else to think for us. That we put blind trust in others.

Trusting the plan makes no such demand. Rather, it’s an exhortation to continue thinking, but to think differently. To analyze current events but to employ a new method of analysis. To expand our thinking.

Many people have incorrectly predicted the way events would play out during the last 2 years because they haven’t yet realized that a different operating system has been installed in the White House. They’re making their predictions based on the workings of an outdated system.

We don’t trust politicians because trust must be earned and they’ve proven themselves untrustworthy. We’ve seen the horrible things they’re capable of. We’ve been programmed to believe that atrocities like war are the inevitable consequence of politics.

When POTUS fired missiles into Syria in 2018, many people assumed—because of past experience—it was a sign we were headed for another war.

Political pundits predicted that Trump would increase our troop buildup in Syria.

But then something unexpected happened.

Rather than increase our military presence in Syria, Trump instituted a plan to withdraw troops, despite objections by his own military leaders

The intervening time period has shown that Trump approaches the battlefield differently from the way other politicians do.

Rather than employ the use of troop buildup, Trump uses carefully measured devastating attacks to make stark statements to opponents. The show of force deters troop build-up.

This strategy is a radical departure from the way most politicians and military leaders think.

Trump views the battlefield so differently, it caused General Mattis to resign as Secretary of Defense.

During his first year in office, political pundits predicted Trump wouldn’t build the wall on the southern border. But he found a way to do it, despite coordinated and sustained attempts to stop him.

Pundits predicted Trump wouldn’t be able to stop the flow of illegal immigrants coming through the southern border.
It took a lot of work and several position changes at the Department of Homeland Security, but he’s made great strides in stopping illegal immigration.

The list of Trump’s accomplishments is long. He’s proven repeatedly that he’s able to achieve his goals despite opposition from the D.C establishment, the media, and political pundits.

I don’t trust Trump and his plan because I’m unwilling to think, critically. I trust him because he’ made it clear he has a detailed plan for everything he does and his plans prioritize the best interests of average people.

I don’t fret. I don’t worry. I trust Trump. When someone proves themselves to be a trustworthy servant, it’s the only logical choice.

Ultimately, my trust is in the wisdom and the power of God.

But I believe God is using Trump to accomplish a significant part of his will in the earth, today.

/End
