I did some quick research and found a consistent number of women who died from illegal abortions in the year before Roe V Wade.

Nearly ALL of these resources have a pro-abortion agenda, and they nearly all agree on one particular number.

That number is 200.

Now, of course, 200 is too many women dying from what should still be (in my opinion) an illegal procedure. However, the crashing of ONE 747 Jumbo Jet will have a larger toll in the space of ten seconds. Deaths from smoking, domestic abuse, illegal drugs, and car accidents from that same year probably outstrip 200 by a longshot.

Klamidia Harris (oops...did I spell her name right?) is fielding the classic “straw man argument” when she pontificates about death from illegal abortions in the years prior to 1973.

No it s not too many. Do stupid and unnecessary dangerous things to your body you run the risk of dying. It serfes as a great warning for others not to try to do the same thing because there’s an inherent risk of death associated with it. That’s how people learn from others bad choices.
