The left wins by boredom & disgust. At first we think that they are just nuts and we retreat to do something worthwhile.

It is human nature to judge others to be like ourselves. Evil is most pernicious when it comes wrapped in a pretty or sanctimonious face. The Left used the factors of disguising intent, seeming harmless, out for good and the boredom factor in listening to them drone on to made it easy to choose to redirect our eyes to more immediate commitments or work, thinking they will never accomplish anything.

That was a big mistake. When they realized the direction of education more aware people tried schoolboard membership, homeschool, letters, speaking at school meetings but the left quickly took over education, in teachers colleges, the professional educators, the groups that give teacher seminars are supported as an outreach by LGBT/socialist/American hating groups.

It is like fighting city hall, battling the assumptions that “we are right; you are wrong; we own the children” is an uphill battle with no traction.

Some districts & states are attempting to make home schooling more & more difficult to choose, even though testing & the performance in college demonstrates home schooled students are more prepared & function more efficiently.

My youngest was home schooled through the lucky accident of Lyme disease. The Lyme was very hard but she started college at the correct age with 30 credits from the local community college and did very well in college & grad school. I lost my eldest son to Cornell. He left home loving us & returned an angry young man who has not yet found his way back. The Leftist onslaught in college is hard to resist especially if you are a trusting person by nature
