My best CPL class was 1 hour of legal instructions, 3 hours of dry-fire (snap cap) training, including several different malfunction drills, break for lunch, and then 4 hours of live-fire practice at an outdoor range in the county. The live-fire drills were of the "practical combat" type at 3-7 yards.
It was about $150 each with a class size of 8 people. Definitely worth the money. Haven't seen a deal like that since.

$1,200 for a day's work..........Not a bad gig if you can get it.
Like I said in a previous post, it's a rip off of legitimate firearm owners whose only wish is to comply with the law........
