Almost all of his pieces in the Daily Mail have been in defense of Trump or very pro-Trump. Lots of Britians dont understand our gun laws, but they are starting to.

He also doen’t mind criticizing Trump over issues he disagrees with, and does so frequently. Basically an independent opinion. I don’t agree with him on many issues, but do with others, and the comments on his DailyMail column run the same way by many people.
Indeed. With the influx of Muslims taking over London; with the Hate Speech laws allowing them to arrest you for ANYTHING they do not like; with the police prosecuting people for defending themselves against criminals... I could imagine no other outcome.
Piers used to be a strident anti-gun voice. Not only has he gone nearly silent on the issue, he's expressing support for President Trump (as you mentioned).

You must not keep up with such things - he’s been edging steadily rightward for awhile and has swerved into common sense on a number of occasions. Used to a left-flamer indeed, but it seems as if he’s coming around. Time will tell if it continues.

He’s a sane semi-leftist. His biggest leftist problem is his vehement anti-2A stance, but he’s been pretty famous for a while now tackling the unbelievable radical excesses of the left.
It’d be a lot easier for him to either stay quiet or pretend to go along with it, but he pushes back pretty hard. I give him respect for that even though I don’t agree with him on everything.
His recent take-down of one of those climate activist was incredibly well done.
I seriously have no idea where he is on the spectrum at this point.
