Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has prided himself as the man who knows all about politics and international relations, but even Cuban is suddenly silent where it concerns China.
Any time a microphone and TV camera are present, Cuban is ready to hold court and sally forth into political waters to make pronouncements about nearly everything. But on China, Cuban has suddenly lost his voice.
Cuban has been mysteriously silent during this flap over the NBA’s slavish support of the oppressive Chinese government. Indeed, even when quizzed directly on the topic by the Washington Times, Cuban would not offer one of his famous, long-winded opinions.
It’s kind of like how Pat Robertson said abortion worked for China when he was making a big business deal with China.

Better that he stays silent, than speak up against our negotiations w China.
They don’t want to condemn China, to condemn a repressive government trying to shut down protest. They are balancing any desire to speak out, against the need to stay on the good side of the Chinese and get good business deals out of China.
Cuban is a moron. This is the same guy who called President Trump “too lazy” to hold the office.

Yes, the business succeeded but how many millions of people are there out there using taxpayer funds that are supposed to go to their college tuition and are actually using those funds for something else?

NBA Commissioner has his tongue. Cuban has been fined tens of thousands for speaking out against NBA orthodoxy, Bet the memo went out to all owners and coaches to not speak ill of China.
