That's what I thought that drop inferred too. Envisioned Wray as feeding the rope to the derps....

This was part of my reading for today and I found it on point as it deals with the construction of protective walls that secures independence and dealing with lying enemies that make up falsehoods to shift reality in their favor. They failed!

This passage is from Nehemiah Chapter 6 in which the Prophet is encouraging his countrymen to rebuild their protective wall while fighting off the pagan nattering nabobs surrounding Jerusalem. Rebuilding the wall was a declaration of sovereignty and the surrounding rascals didn't like their efforts. Too bad for them, Nehemiah had a decree from the Persian King Artaxerxes to do exactly that.

Side note: That decree was given to Nehemiah in the 20th year of the king's reign as told in Chapter two. That is the beginning of the time clock of the prophecy of Daniel's 70 weeks (Dan 9:24-27), a countdown of 490 years (70 sevens) until the revelation of The Messiah, culminating with The Triumphal Entry in Luke 19.

5) Then Sanballat sent his servant to me in the same manner a fifth time with an open letter in his hand.

6) In it was written, “It is reported among the nations, and Gashmu says, that you and the Jews are planning to rebel; therefore you are rebuilding the wall. And you are to be their king, according to these reports.

7) You have also appointed prophets to proclaim in Jerusalem concerning you, ‘A king is in Judah!’ And now it will be reported to the king according to these reports. So come now, let us take counsel together.”

8) Then I sent a message to him saying, “Such things as you are saying have not been done, but you are inventing them in your own mind.”

9) For all of them were trying to frighten us, thinking, “They will become discouraged with the work and it will not be done.” But now, O God, strengthen my hands.
