In Erdogan’s mind they have the inalienable right to do so. It was the Ottoman Empire that controlled the entire Middle East prior to WWI.
It was the Ottoman Empire that enslaved Europeans and moved into Eastern Europe. The word slave comes from the word Slav. The Ottoman’s castrated their male slaves and turned them into warriors for Islam.
Erdogan want to reestablish the Caliphate with him at its head. Turkey really needs to be removed from NATO, and all European Muslim migrants be returned to whence they came.
