It is regarding HAM repeater equipment mounted on CalFire towers. Not frequency allocation or anything directly FCC related. The state wants them to lease the space now instead of providing it for free because “...with constantly changing technological advances, there is no longer the same benefit to State as previously provided.”. Thank you very much. So it IS a big deal. WTF is the state of CA up to?? I hope everyone reads that; I didn’t read all 14 pages but enough to see that the state is full of crap and apparently they want people to burn up to death. And HAM operators to be silenced.
Is CalFire to blame or some other aspect of state “government”?
