That works for posts but not when posting a thread.

When I preview a new thread, the body of the content is previewed, but not the header information including the link.

The mystery of the other whistleblower

The Ukraine whistleblower has turned Washington upside down, but the information dished by the Democrats’ other whistleblower — the one at the IRS — remains a mystery.

Democrats, who disclosed the existence of the whistleblower as part of their lawsuit seeking President Donald Trump’s tax returns, have been vague about what the person is alleging, beyond that someone in the administration may have tried to interfere with an audit of either Trump’s or Vice President Mike Pence’s tax return. Those audits are automatic for sitting presidents and vice presidents.

In a court filing, Democrats said they were first approached in July by a federal employee “setting forth credible allegations of ‘evidence of possible misconduct’ — specifically, potential 'inappropriate efforts to influence' the mandatory audit program.” They did not offer additional details, though lawyers for the House said they could tell the judge more in private.

The Washington Post reported that in his complaint, the whistleblower said he was told that at least one Treasury official had attempted to improperly influence the IRS examination. The person declined to discuss specifics in an interview with the Post.

If the links are embedded in the body of the post, I can check them. However this post did not have links in the body; when I preview threads the title and date etc. fields are not visible and cannot be “tested.” Only the body of the post itself.

If you use an href you can test them, sure. But if you include your source url in the source box then you can click on that and see if it is a good link. That’s what I’m talking about. If you didn’t put the url in the source box then you didn’t include a link to your source page so there would be nothing to test.

I always include my source link unless it’s a rare personal vanity.

These things are not secret inside the world of the elites. In 2017 When Lauer was forced out Trump tweeted: “Check out Andy Lack’s past!”

He also said
“So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of Phil Griffin? And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the ‘unsolved mystery’ that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!”

My recollection is that Connie Chung joined, then got the whole show to herself, then she said she wanted to have a baby, then the show was cancelled.
