LOL! And we're supposed to believe that none of that was staged? This gang member had a cell phone to film with for four freakin' years, and it was never detected? I find that hard to believe. I can't believe nobody ratted him out. Snitches are a dime a dozen. And if one inmate knew about the camera...they all knew. Like we're supposed to be surprised that inmates make, and carry weapons, get drugs smuggled in, fight, stab each other, brew alcohol, etc.? Hell, they were doing the same things back in 1980 when I went to work at Auburn prison as a new hack. The difference between the convicts then, and now is that back then, you had lifers who took care of business when the younger convicts stirred up trouble on the block. There were also less Hispanics, illegals, fewer gang members, and psychotic inmates than there are today.
I've always believed that prisons should be so horrible that no one would ever want to go back to one. But unfortunately, many are like college campuses, and convicts are consistently repeat offenders. Most criminals cut deals, which means they never do the time for the actual crime they committed.
