“message of intolerance”?! They’re asking him to cut his hair. They miss “clean cut” haircuts. What’s intolerant about that?
I’ll bet he wrote it himself.
Reading into something that just isnt there. Smh.
Theyre very intolerant about about someones free speech.
I agree with the sentiment, but I think that a better argument is that they are dangerous for an athlete! I have often thought they could get caught during a tackle and possibly cause a neck injury. I would also think that they could cause the player to get too hot during summer workouts and the early games of the season. The same goes for the NFL.
The reply is intolerant against folks who like short hair.
Note to PSU: Don't know...or don't want to know?
If this letter is a hoax, PSU better get out in front of this.
Ho...hum...college fball...completely sold out as entertainment...no longer rambunctious young men who are becoming smarter in subjects other than football...great to play...crap if it is your only life skill...
The good news is that college football as we know it isn’t going to be around long. Good riddance!
The look like Uruk-hai.
those shoulder length dreadlocks look disgusting and are certainly not attractive.”
Absolutely!!
I have been saying for a few ywars, now, that I don’t know why there isn’t regulation because of safety.
i kind of agree. I know it is wrong, but if you have dreads, I don’t take you seriously. I hate going to a medical appt. and having to deal with someone whose hair is all twisted up.
And what did they think of the homos raping boys in the shower?
Stupid old white folk dont really need to have their letters published.
Was with my Mom in a hospital waiting room and saw a man with a bald head that looked like a shar pei. My mom, who was never shy, asked why it looked like that. He said it was from when he was young and had long dreadlocks. Seems they are very heavy and stretch the skin permanently in some cases.
“its content does not align with our values.”
“our values”
Your “values” are what Penn State, Thuggism?
If he walked into my office for a job interview with a head full of long dreadlocks, I would politely go through the pretense of a genuine interview, but never hire him. He made his hair choice and I would make my hiring choice.
