Many Americans who watch George Stephanopoulos on ABC News in the mornings have no idea what he used to do for a living.
Along with another media hack, James Carville, this smug little person was once in charge of the Bill Clinton political “war room” and was widely credited with helping foist Slick Willy BJ” Clinton and his corrupt wife, Hillary, on the country.

Jordan really should have answered the question and said there was nothing wrong with Trump asking then he should have given reasons why.

You are spot on.
I am a huge fan of Jim Jordan, but this was not his finest hour. All he had to do to rebut was quote word for word what President Trump said, and that would have completely turned the tables on Stephanopoulos.
The Lollipop Guild has long been missing a few Munchkins but Stephie has never quite seemed as deranged about it as Reich, until now.
I listened to the ABC show this morning on the radio on my down to L.A.. Georgy is nothing but a little putzadick.

President was expressing his opinion that China SHOULD look into the Bidens but he did not ask any Chinese official to do anything either publicly or privately. Shouting this at clueless reporters over the noise of Marine One is not considered a legitimate foreign policy request. The premise of Stephanopolous’ question was intentionally dishonest.
It would not be inappropriate to ask China for evidence of corruption on Hunter Biden’s part since he was a business partner of the Chinese state. It would just be silly.
The Chinese knew exactly what they were doing by giving Hunter Biden the $1.5B to invest in dual use technology companies. It provided them protection from the CFIUS board so that they could bypass the restrictions on export of dual use products and use them to build up their military. From China’s standpoint this was not a crime, it was a brilliant trick that worked. This is only a US crime, not a Chinese one.
