I am confused as to how liberals get to choose sympathetic judges but conservatives seem to always get stuck with whoever and that is generally a liberal judge.

I used to actually believe judges were supposed to be impartial and non political in their rulings. Guess I am just old.

The vast majority of judges and legislators are liberals, and a substantial fraction of those are "dishonest but working within legal parameters."

I'd guess 75 out of 100 judge are sympathetic to liberal causes. Even if drawn by chance (they aren't really, the clerk (inevitably a moonbat liberal) and the chief in any courtroom can steer the case to the right judge), the liberals are apt to get a judge biased to the same outcome the liberal wants.
