In this same broadcast CBS also spent a couple minutes on showing body cam video from the arrest in Galveston wherein the perp was handcuffed and led with a rope the 4 blocks to the police station by two officers on horseback. Of course, this led to outrage and protests.
Now, I’ll give you the optics aren’t great, but please - making an arrestee walk 4 blocks is not Bull Conner firehosing civil rights marchers and setting police dogs on them, no matter how much people try to paint it as such.
Now CBS - what is the national importance of this that it deserves a minute or two on a national newscast to bring it back up because of some body cam video that revealed nothing new?
This broadcast was nothing but new lows from CBS.
Since “Sarah” chose to get pregnant with the intent of killing her baby, I have no sympathy for any inconvenience she may have experienced when she went to kill the baby. In fact, killing babies should always be inconvenient. Women who know that there may be some effort involved to kill babies could well opt to use contraceptives instead, or even avoid physical relations altogether. Not good for the abortion industry, but who cares about that?
I happened to catch a little of this last night. It was pure, 100% propaganda. If there is a doubt in anyone’s mind about the political leanings of the media, this one story could dispel it.
