I’d have given that trigger happy cop 99 years.

She’s going to have a very rough time in prison.

Ten years and out in three. She'd better move far far away from Dallas.

What was the reason they think this woman killed this poor guy? If it was murder, what was the reason?

I thing she should have gotten much longer. She shot a guy in his own apartment and then didnt try to save him.

Ten years and out in three.I might be wrong but I think in Texas there's no parole when convicted of murder.

It wasn’t murder. This is going to be one of the fastest cases overturned on appeal ever. There’s a fair chance she won’t even face a retrial. The sad part is I don’t think the judge will let her out on bail pending appeal.

Ten years and a murder conviction do not compute.

That is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. There are a whole lot of people doing more time for stupid crimes than you are likely to do for taking a human life. The law's #1 priority MUST be the protection of human life.
Started to irk me when Pennsylvania passed a law mandating longer sentences for killing a police DOG (which is often more than you'd get for manslaughter).
