Of course, no explanation has been given - but in fact, it has little to do with religion - and everything to do with basic biology, science, and common sense.
Ironic that trans are the opposite of the gays who are happy to be out of the closet. Trans want to get in the closet but is it because they truly believe they are the opposite sex or because they want to deceive people? Several years ago a trans woman was murdered because he seduced a couple of guys at a bar who thought he was a she. When they discovered the error, they went crazy and beat him to death. I want no part of deceiving others and so I have already determined not to cooperate in calling a man a woman or vice versa. (But then I am a crotchety old woman and no longer in the workplace so the pressure is definitely different for me.)

When teaching architecture in Savannah , I stumbled on a solution for this. I addressed all students by their last names. No pronouns. No exceptions. It was, “What’s the answer Smith?” and “Where is your homework, Jones?” It worked like a charm.
My guess is that he did have tenure based on the fact his license expires in 2021.
This idiocy is going to hit the SAT test, and I’m rather certain the College Board will cave.
As a teacher, I used to give kids nicknames and refer to them only as such. This one would be too easy...

I’m glad the teacher stood up to the insanity in spite of it costing his job. I’m sure a local private school will hire him. We all have to stand together condemning this transgender nonsense.
