Didn’t he resign as the governor of Minnesota because he couldn’t take the criticism he was getting from the media and his voters? If I remember correctly, he wasn’t around very long before he bailed.
Ventura was governor for a single term from 1999-2003.
He was elected as a Reform Party candidate but left the party shortly after becoming governor in 2000. He joined the Independence Party in 2000 but quit them when he left office at the end of his term.
He is currently a member of theGreen Party.
