I bought a used 2014 V8 Ford Expedition, the last year of the V8.

Best hope it does not have the two-piece sparkplugs Triton.

We went from suburbans to an Expedition/ OH SHITE!!!

And I do not care how it sounds.

FORD/SPIT!

Lol. I guess Alexa/big brother had already alerted Tesla about the troublesome Nagers.

Serves them right for buying a Tesla in the first place since the only reasons to buy one are sanctimonious environmental virtue signaling and conspicuously displaying how you can buy an expensive car that used a lot of resources to build. (Kind of schizophrenic goals)

The sunroof track failed — $3,000 repair.
The ALUMINUM coolant lines to the rear AC corroded — $1,300 repair.

$4,300 of repairs so far which is about 20% of what I paid for it! Just outrageous.

Fortunately, I bought the extended warranty for $1,000 so I’m way ahead. But both times the warranty company responded “DECLINED” and only paid for it after I got the dealership where I bought the car to go to bat for me. They really have muscle w the warranty company.

They should have bought a Challenger. Yup. I paid mid 30ks for my 2015 Challenger SRT 6-speed manual. I still manage over 25mpg on the highway, and it'll keep up with nearly everything on the road.

I was just at my local Chevy dealer and the salesman showed me a brand new Traverse with the front end pushed in, which occurred in transit. He said it will be fixed and sold as new.

If anyone challenges that, there is really no recourse for the complainant. The sign says “green” vehicles, which is a euphemism. It needs to explicitly say “EVs” or “Hybrids.”

We drove ours for a few years with only a minor problem, the hood latch would freeze OPEN!!!.

Gave it to our son after three years, at about 70,000 miles the trans went out in Colorado, he lives in Ilinois. Everyone I ask that had one the trans went before 80k!

Then one-day #1 son calls to ask when I changed the plugs, he s getting a plug error code? I told him they are good for 100k!
He says it has 115k!!
No big deal bring it over...
He said it is a BIG DEAL!!!

The two of us spend from 7:30 AM until 4 PM,
What a pain!!!

Almost every step required a different procedure, depending on the VIN number!!!
My son liked the car and had no additional problems.

I was afraid to ride in it, for fear it would spit out the plugs, a common event!!!

2007 Z06 22K. 427 CID LS7 motor Blackwing intake, Kooks headers, Corsa extreme exhaust, Computer reprogrammed, Heads ported and polished, new valves (LS7 motors have a valve issue from factory that I resolved) and an Erson 631 lift cam. I have owned it since 1340 miles, and I love that car. It is an absolute beast, new Michelin tires (355 out back, 285 up front). Alas, my license cant take another hit and I need to drive for work. It has to go. 30K and its yours.
OH, and its a C6 so no silly C5 flip up headlights...

Bottom line is that most people put no thought into the pre-delivery inspection. However, for the most part, this is your last chance to bring stuff up to the dealer that is wrong with the car. After you sign the papers and it’s yours, IT’S YOURS!!!
