I just watched Trumps speech honoring outgoing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dunford, and welcoming his replacement, General Mark Milley. Trump made an interesting comment during the speech. He said something to the effect that he wanted to thank Gen. Dunford (and his wife) for something he has never spoken publicly about. He described how, at an event in 2015, before he had made a decision about running for President, he met Dunford and discussed with him whether or not he should run. Trump then goes on to credit Dunford with helping him come to a decision on whether or not to run. Could Dunford be one of the Generals Q talked about, who convinced Trump to run? More than likely. Is Dunford part of the Q team? IMO, more than likely.
