This was back in June but she also quit doing YouTube in 2018. Just worked on a documentary and after its release on a interview with Stefan Molyneux she announced she was quitting. Her career was awfully short. She was at Sun News and The Rebel Media. Rebel had mass defections in 2017. Lauren quit Rebel and was on YouTube with a channel 13 months.

Left wingers get to peddle their views and collect paychecks for doing so by working as journalists. Lauren Southern had Youtube views from which she was getting paid. Then she was demonetized. Facebook has been doing the same thing with respect to right-wingers, so that’s probably not an option. As an adult who has to pay the rent, it’s no surprise she’s quitting the itinerant existence of a right-wing pundit. Left-wingers get platforms like the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal for their opinions, while getting regular paychecks. Right-wingers get to comment for free on forums. Unlike left-wing punditry, its right-wing counterpart is not a living.
