Sorry but Congress members are pretty much immune to any punishment (other than what Congress may apply).
It is perfectly legal for a Congress member to lie and only Congress can decide if they would punish a member or not.
He attempted to secure damaging information on the president from people he believed to be Russians. He should be arrested for that.
