I think that the whistleblower, who is alleged to work for the CIA, is representative of a Leftist cabal within that organization. They are now taking their shot at Trump.

Or maybe it’s Biden they are after? If the Democrat objection is to US elected officials putting the squeeze on a foreign country (Ukraine), then how much worse are Joe Biden’s recorded statements at the CFR? If this is bad enough to take a president down, then an ex-VP is surely going to federal prison for his earlier activities.

Frankly, I don’t see either happening. Impeachment & removal from office has never happened, and the Democrats always manage to skate on any serious charges. So what is the game here? Damage Trump & get Biden out of the race.

How does that ‘win’ the 2020 election for the Democrats? The only way it can help is if it opens the door for a currently undeclared candidate to get into the race. Michele? Hillary (again!)? Cuz, none of the munchkins currently in the race has the goods to beat Trump while espousing socialism as their platform.
