My guess is Brennan planted this spy in the WH long ago, as a sort of “insurance policy”, you might say. With the FISA report looming and Biden fizzling they decided this Ukraine story was the best thing they had and pulled the trigger on it (if we’re still allowed to say that).
There has to be a reason for doing it now, because it’s such a weak story and damages Biden. Which of course may be the exact intent.

I’m quite certain that the release of this “Whistle-Blower complaint” was intended to both damage Donald Trump and put an end to Joe Biden’s embarrassing candidacy.
I also wonder if the Trump administration was planning on waiting until after Biden secured the Democrat nomination to bring out all this dirt. This could have been a pre-emptive strike to prevent that from happening.
