I'm now starting to think this WBlower letter was crafted sometime ago and Trump had access to it. He has had to spend a great deal of time telling people the truth and I believe he thought it would end there. It could also be the reason he crafted the speeches/talking points the way he did, although I cannot figure out using the word perfect so many times to describe a phone call.

The rats are rabid and cannot stop themselves so they decided to double down and go all out with the impeachment circus and Ukraine lies.

This is going to end fairly soon in a spectacular fashion in my opinion.
