I know that "clear and present danger" originated in legal text, but using said text as they do sometimes seems like the DS is referencing the movie Clear and Present Danger which features an assasination attempt on the life of the president. I don't think that the DS exactly "objects" to this association.
Looking at the time stamp, I'd say she made her remarks BEFORE POTUS ridiculed her to the world in today's bilateral agreement meetings.

Yeah I am pretty sure we are there. The House impeachment hearings were some of the nastiest stuff I have seen recently (and that’s saying something).

I agree with your statement here. And I wish I could remember what someone else said a few days ago, and I thought, well that sounds like a call to try to assassinate. I wish I could remember who or what. I think since Russia Russia Russia failed, Racist Racist Racist failed, Impeach Impeach Impeach has failed, they’ll try.. they will.
