I read a few books on McDonalds. Used to be hamburgers were cooked on spot from fresh meat - usually grass-fed.
McDonalds made it where you could literally store food in giant freezers for years. I think that is not good.
And yes, soda used to be made from cane sugar, not HFCS.
Neither is very good for you but HFCS is much worse.
French fries used to be made with beef tallow. Now vegetable oil with all the trans-fats. Not good!
Milkshakes are basically 100% artificial with virtually no real dairy product.
Yeah, I stay away from fast food altogether.

When I moved to SoCal in the 1960s, Carl’s Jr was still local and owned by the family. Char-broiled hamburgers that none have surpassed since, and I’m sure that they were fresh meat rather than frozen. Gone along with the family control.
