PITTSBURGH - A fight at a gas station on Pittsburgh's North Side was recorded on video and went viral on social media.
Police said multiple people are now facing criminal charges, and the videos led to a protest Saturday and Sunday.
For the second straight day, dozens of people gathered outside two Pittsburgh gas stations to protest the owners.
Police also were back at the Exxon gas station after they said two customers were violently attacked by an owner and employee. Officers went into the gas station as they continue their investigation, collecting evidence throughout the day.
On Sunday, protesters told Channel 11 they know the girls involved and that they are not the type of people to start fights. Protesters also said they plan on holding a press conference Monday morning to address the beating.
Police said they were called about 6:45 p.m. Friday to the gas station on Brighton Road for a report of a fight between the male gas station owners and two female customers.

Personal experience from an event at a local high-school:
Some students were giving speaking presentations. One of them, a well-spoken young black man, was giving a presentation on black-owned businesses.
I was initially encouraged that he seemed to have done his research and was intent on spurring private enterprise in the black community.
Then, out of the blue, he made the comment that “I really hate it when I walk into a store in my neighborhood and see that it’s owned by an Indian or an AAA-rab.”
All fired up about racism, and yet he could not hear the racism coming out of his own mouth.
“That is the way it should be, but when one is entitled, one is entitled. They are entitled to free money, free housing, free food, why not free gasoline. I can see their point.”

When it comes to muslims I will give these women the benefit of the doubt that the pumps actually did malfunction. It says in the koran that it’s okay to lie to the infidel so cheating us out of gas? Yea I could see them trying to pull that one off.

Well, on second thought, I could have phrased it better. In fact, it would have been better if I hadn’t posted. It was not my intention to side with the muslims, but that was not the way it turned out. In closing, on a personal note, I do not knowingly patronize muslim owned or run businesses. People who have made public their desire to separate my head from my shoulders I avoid.
Trying to look at it from both sides. Arabs/Indians are the only ones apparently willing to take the financial/personal risks involved in opening a store in his neighborhood. To avoid losses, they treat their customers as if they are all potential thieves and only give jobs dealing with money to family and friends.
As a customer you walk into a store that has a hostile attitude towards you and anyone who looks like you. You’d avoid a store like that, but stores like that are all that are opened in your neighborhood. On top of that these stores won’t even think of hiring anyone who looks like you.
I don’t blame black people for resenting the situation. And I can’t blame the store owners for acting like they do, although running outside to hit a woman is going a bit far. I think, from the video, the business is doomed. The owners will lose a lot of money, but the neighborhood will lose a store. Don’t know that anyone wins.
Something a lot like this happened in Cairo, Ill in the late 60s. White shop owners, black customers. Now Cairo has very few functioning stores. Blacks chased out the white store owners and now they live in a ghost town.
Private property and the protesters are impeding customer access. Why do the cops not remove the people?
