Let’s be real about this guy’s talent. He runs fast and has excellent hand-eye coordination. He probably has a lot of experience in keeping up his physique through excercise and diet. In the NFL that can be worth millions of dollars per year if you are a top performer.
Outside of professional sports, those skills and talents can make you a living, but not a million dollar salary.
I don’t know what is in his mind or heart, but if someone told me all I had to do to be handed a check for nine million dollars was keep my mouth shut and play a game, I wouldn’t be conflicted in the least.
