Yes. I bet Johnny Fever could the scoop for us.
Folks back when said the same about telegraph and later, telephone and electric poles.
Architecture and Building: A Journal of Investment and Construction, Volume 6 March 26 1887
and they were correct.
Telephone poles and wires are unsightly and are underground in the better communities.
Agreed. However, the cost of installing and maintaining underground utility wires is much higher than that of overhead. And the time and cost of repairing underground is also much higher. And underground, while protected from wind and ice and tree limb growth, are more susceptible to flooding, do not last as long and are impractical and cost prohibitive in some areas. During Sandy in NYC the underground electrical equipment and substations were flooded causing underground fires and outages.
Electric users ask: Why not put power lines underground?
What I see around here in Central PA are overhead wires on poles along main roads and in older communities with underground in newer (and not necessarily wealthier or better communities, just newer).
Are the overhead wires an eyesore? Yes, I guess but then I really hardly notice them since Ive seen them all of my life. I remember when the first cell phone towers when up, how jarring it was to the eye to see them and how ugly they looked. Now? Meh, I hardly notice them. Plus, a lot of them are now installed on top of existing structures like water towers. Are water towers ugly, yes most are, but like having electricity, cable, Wi-Fi, cell service, and I sort of like having enough water pressure to flush the toilet and take a shower.
That said I hate driving in the country, coming across a hilltop with a wide vista overlooking mostly unpopulated rolling hills and valleys or small farms and seeing a swath of high voltage electric wires cutting through the landscape. But then again I like getting back home and turning on the lights.
Wow! I wasn’t expecting that, but it is true. Thank you for the tech update.
So I’ve been advised. Well, it is still not an ionizing radiation.
Kenneth says, higher higher. I was jumped on the thread. ;-D
I heard that it cures ED, and while that may sound like a good thing, it puts too much pressure on women to respond.
It may contribute to blindness {if the ED is cured and the women don't respond}.

Don’t Red Flag me, Bro! :)
Theres a community gain for electricity and information.
5G provides no discernible improvement.

They are actually beacons summoning athletes from outer space. Reds, Bengals, and FC Cincy are dismal. A lttle intergalactic help would be appreciated.
