I gave that a try, but it didn’t work for me. Am now trying a packet of unflavored gelatin once a day in juice. It seems to make my nails stronger, but not sure about my hair.
Take the full B vitamins, which usually include biotin. There’s something called Nail, Hair & Skin Connection that they sell in health food stores and vitamin shops.
It’s also is good for your nerves.
The only drawback is if you have hepatitis you’ll never know it. It’s a color thing.
Your nails and a hair are essentially made of the same material. Its just harder to check if your hair is stronger :-)
