Congress has no choice': Biden to call for Trump to be impeached if he refuses to cooperate"
Joe Biden will publicly use a Tuesday afternoon press conference to back the impeachment of President Trump if he fails to cooperate with Congress over claims by an intelligence community whistleblower about his dealings with Ukraine.“He’s going to make the point that Trump’s latest abuses are on top of all of his prior abuses. He’s going to call on Trump to comply with all of Congress’ outstanding, lawful requests for information — in the Ukraine matter, and in the other investigations — and if Trump does not comply, Congress has no choice but to impeach," a Biden campaign spokesman told the Washington Examiner.
Biden's call comes as candidates vying for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination and a growing number of congressional Democrats demand investigations into allegations Trump pressured Ukraine's leader to dig up dirt on the former vice president's son and his dealings with an oligarch-owed energy company.
The former vice president is due to hold a press conference in Wilmington, Delaware, at 2:30 p.m Tuesday.

The desire to impeach Trump is understandable - but the fact is impeachment is almost certain to fail in the GOP Senate which would require 67 senators to approve. Unless a bunch of GOP Senators decide to get on board it will fail, rally the GOP base and play into Trump’s hands.
