SLFLORESVILLE, Texas - UPDATE: Jurors on Friday sentenced convicted former San Antonio attorney Mark Benavides to 80 years in prison for each of his six counts of human trafficking. His sentences will run concurrently, and he will be eligible for parole in 30 years.
Sorry for the confusion. The first article, posted by DainBrange, reported he was found guilty. The second article, which I posted, showed he was sentenced to 80 years in prison. Both articles were from April, 2018, or 17 months ago.
The first article was optimistic that many more such taken-downs would continue at an ever-faster rate; my point was just that the top-of-the-food-chain traffickers have not been taken down. However, I did forget Epstein, so there is that.
