“Are you really saying that Trump getting impeached is a *good thing*?”

Another straw man argument.

Of course we don’t think Trump getting impeached would be a *good thing*. We think it won’t happen, because the boomerang is about to hit Biden upside the head. Trump set them up perfectly in an absolutely brilliant maneuver. See the difference?

We know he’s got this and can see it coming, while you are ignorant and have your eyes closed. Or are you? Maybe you see it too, and are trying to talk it down. That explains your stance here better than any other scenario,

Biden is screwed. $15 mil in 2 years since leaving office. $1.5 billion to his son from China. $1.5 billion contract to Biden's brother. Oh wait that's before we even get to Ukraine.— Wyatt (@SayWhenLA) September 25, 2019

The deal Hunter and Chris made with a Chinese company to purchase Henniges Automotive. Henniges makes critical equipment for our military. This is bordering treason - aiding and abetting the enemy.— Wyatt (@SayWhenLA) September 25, 2019

He (and GOPers and Bush Admin officials) also met Pakistani ISI general during and after 9/11 who wired money to Mohammad Atta for the 9/11 attacks. Biden and Condi Rice said "We see nothing," when they were asked only one or two times about their friendship with the general and nobody followed up with them after 2007 when joe ran for POTUS during the 2008 election and he was asked by an alternative news reporter.— Wyatt (@SayWhenLA) September 25, 2019

Ok, great! We certainly agree on that.

We think it won’t happen, because the boomerang is about to hit Biden upside the head.

How hard was the boomerang hit? Did it kill Joe's race for President?

Biden has been trending down for a while now, and in the end I think he is unlikely to be the nominee. Warren has been coming up in the polls all year. Every Democrat I know, including several former Bernie supporters, is either committed to Warren or leaning towards Warren.

Biden has looked weak and confused repeatedly over the summer, and Democrats have noticed that too.

Will the re-opening of the accusations against Joe/Hunter be enough to finish him off? I doubt it. I don't see Joe dropping out of the race now. Do you? I think he will stay in through New Hampshire, at least. Joe still has the black vote. That could mean a lot of delegates on Super Tuesday.

Trump set them up perfectly in an absolutely brilliant maneuver. See the difference?

No. I don't see the "absolutely brilliant" move by Trump. This is the difference, I see Trump as a victim in this affair, and it outrages me. I think he was treated horribly by the Intel community, who are continuing to spy on him and leak to him. No other POTUS has ever had the contents of private conversations with other world leaders leaked like this, it's unbelievable.

I think the actual conversation (that we got the transcripts of) is no big deal, but it has provided enough fuel to fan the outrage fire, and was useful to the Dems in moving the "Impeachment" case forward another step or two.

I am not nearly convinced that "it won't happen". What's going to stop it? Pelosi is the speaker, if she wants she can bring it to the floor at any time. Given the Dem majority do you really think it will not pass?

Time will tell.
