From the Canadian Communicable Disease Report:
“Men with urethral gonococcal infection usually have symptoms, but in both genders, rectal and pharyngeal infections are more likely to be asymptomatic”
So, gonorrhea of the throat and the rectum are a serious problem. When I was young I don’t think I ever heard of people getting the clap in those places. Yuk.
And gonorrhea of the throat and rectum --- God help us. I had a pediatrician friend who treated that in toddlers. Reported it to law enforcement too, of course. There are some diabolically twisted people out there.
