Don’t their contracts have a morals clause? They need one. Fire them the minute they’re convicted of a crime on anything greater than jaywalking.

At one time, professional athletes were considered heroes by kids. Today, they’re nothing but felons.

They used to have and enforce such Morals Clause violations all the time. I’m not a big sports fan, so I may have missed certain details.

My guess is the vast majority of modern day team members are in violation of many Morals Clause standards. If all of those were suspended or removed from the teams, those teams would not have enough players left to play. So the bar of what is acceptable behavior has been lowered even more.
How low can they go?
