Thanks for your concern. My wife and I are approaching our 58 th annivesary.

DMV would not accept our original marriage certificate signed by the minister, and others including her father.

We now have the so called legal documented marriage license and my birth certificate from the out of state counties.

First, we have to waste about an hour for each of us on line to re enter the data. We have lived in the same home with the same phone # for 40+ years and the same SS #’s since we were teens.

Then, we have to go to the DMV without an appt. Any appts are months away. Then, we will be there about 2 hours to get this new old data reentered. We may be charged for the new real licenses. If we don’t get there and get the new real licenses, the data will go out of date in 30 days. Then, we repeat the same thing again.

The DMV office will be filled with people facing the same issues and many “new comers”. Many are veterans of previous encounters with the new DMV rules.

Many senior citizen are in tears, and the DMV has asked me to help explaining this ‘CF’ to some of them, while we are waiting. The local DMV people are basically good people. I worked for free with them to get local Vets listed as Veterans on our drivers’s licenses.

Some of the really impacted are legal Hispanic citizens.

It has been funny to see some of the young Alfas ignoring the warnings, then getting blindside at the DMV. They thought that the rules didn’t apply to them.

Thanks for your concern and reply.

I’m assuming the “new” dmv licenses are the national driver’s licenses to which you speak. I chose not to get one when I got my license renewed, though they did tell me that my current license would not allow me to get on an airplane after a date certain.

I chose to leave it as it was as I have a passport and do not like the idea of being in a national registry, kind of like not catching illegal aliens when they are in plain sight but making us law abiding citizens prove themselves law abiding yet again!

I was especially against it as it was shoved through under Obama and now even more realizing what scum the deep state are, constantly making laws to invade our privacy when they break laws they demand us to follow them while they don’t!

Might I ask what your state is, as to why you continue to get the runaround on issues if ID confirmation?
