That was my first reaction too. Why all of a sudden those women are “concerned” about the fate of the baby they didn’t want and killed?
Some of the more tender women dont want to be reminded of the reality of the body of their baby. They wanted it disappeared.
Some may have been coerced.
And some may have repented.
I assume it’s the same today, but abortion clinics in the past didn’t warn women about the emotional and sometimes physical long term effects of abortion. Often they made the decision under pressure and later experienced deep sorrow and regret which they secretly bore for years. There are religious organizations which recognized a need and developed programs to help them pick up the pieces of their lives and find forgiveness and reconciliation.
