You're not alone on that one. It galls me that even to this day, the bombing of Dresden is spoken of as an unnecessary use of force by the Allies.

Right? The Japanese still say the same about Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The way the Japs see they were ‘’little island nation minding own business when one day American plane come and a drop horrible Atomic Bomb. O so terrible! Japan must surrender to American’’.
