Back When, there was a gator in one of the sinkhole ponds that dot suburban Orlando. Seems some little old lady was throwing the gator a chicken, once a week.

Then, the little old lady died. Dogs and cats started vanishing...

You can’t just automatically blame the gator. Probably didn’t even have any DNA evidence on him.
