Trump is clearly an America First POTUS and a non-interventionist.
Carter was a non-interventionist.
I contend Trump would have allowed the crazies to take over Iran.
And we'd still have the Panama Canal if it had been under Trump's watch. Carter gave away something that belonged to us and wasn't his to give away.
We know he would not have, he said something to that effect at the time.
And Ronnie Raygun brought that debacle to a quick close without lifting a finger. Simply by being inaugurated Reagan, terrified Iran so bad that they could not give us our hostages back fast enough. They knew that a real man was back in the WH.
