If I recall correctly, Ms. Silverman said it was a good idea that the Lord was killed and she wished it could be done again. In the 19th Century, there were criminal laws punishing blasphemy. Of course, in our time, “hate speech”, i.e., speech liberals hate, is the current version of blasphemy.
